I cannot even begin to let on what company this is, but the project was great. You may just see some of this someday and it will be awesome. But as for my involvement, I was with the greatest minds from this brand as well as our own team battling through so many starter ideas it was ridiculous. We got to a handful of solid ideas to start trying out. I was given a decent amount of time to work on these so I got to really rock the illustrations out. I also got to play and invent band names and their logos, any similarity between bands seen here and any real band is completely coincidental (also For the security of my ass and anyone involved, all colors have been altered and any logos have been blurred) 2012

Oskar Keen and Monroe
This was a solo show at the Bricks in Ybor City, FL. Ruston Head and I have been working on this story for children for a while now and this was a first stab at developing the characters. This is special because I was freed of the usual tools ie. the laptop and Wacom tablet. It also spawned a new favorite painting/art style for me as seen in the giant rooster that now resides with Eric Burke at 22 Squared in Tampa.
Here are a few favorites:

Nike SB Directed by Banner Gwin
The amazing and super talented editor/director Banner Gwin wants to make commercials and I got to help. This was very special, Banner and I met for a beer in Santa Monica for about a half hour and during that time we met for the first time, laughed that we were the only two guys in a bar filled with trophy wives at 4PM, and discussed this project. He took me through each shot and I could picture it so clearly. Here are some frames from the boards I did for him. Final product to be posted soon.

?What If! editorial illustrations for company website
These were special because I finally got to make work with ?What If! where I didn't need to hide colors or logos and the work was immediately showcased on the company's website. These were illustrations for four articles written by some of the creative geniuses over there. Here are a couple of my favorites:

Tampa Bay Lightning pitch boards
This was a challenging one. I got a call at 930 AM and the asked if I could be in their offices by 10AM. They needed three 30 sec spots storyboarded by the and of the following day for a pitch meeting where they were up against two other top agencies for the account. The creative was already done, they just needed the visuals. The deadline and timing was tough but the work was fun and the firm got the account. 27 frames in a day and a half (full color).
